Migrate

Migrating your ERP to Digital WorkMate

You do not replace an ERP often. That is why we work with a fixed approach in eleven steps, with clear decision points and no surprises.

  1. 1

    Discovery

Getting to know your business, products, customers, current systems and the reason to change.

  2. 2

    Process analysis

From quote to invoice: how do sales, work preparation, scheduling, production, purchasing and logistics run today?

  3. 3

    Fit/gap

Per process: does it fit as standard, with configuration, with an integration, or not. Honest and in writing.

  4. 4

    Data analysis

Quality and structure of master data: accounts, items, BOMs, routings, stock and open orders.

  5. 5

    Migration strategy

What moves, what gets cleaned up, when you switch and which systems stay (for example accounting).

  6. 6

    Configuration

Setting up sites, users and rights, operations and machines, document templates and custom fields.

  7. 7

    Data migration

Loading master data with the Excel import and rule-driven mapping; repeatable until the data is right.

  8. 8

    Integration

Connecting to financial systems and other ERP systems, e-invoicing, identity provider, machines and any other systems.

  9. 9

    User acceptance test (UAT)

Your staff test their own processes with their own data, from sales order to delivery.

  10. 10

    Go-live

Switching at an agreed moment, with support in the office and on the shop floor.

  11. 11

    Continuous improvement

After go-live, evaluate and improve; new features become available without an upgrade project.

Frequently asked questions

How does an ERP migration to Digital WorkMate work?

In eleven steps: discovery, process analysis, fit/gap, data analysis, migration strategy, configuration, data migration, integration, user acceptance test, go-live and continuous improvement, with clear decision points.

Which data can I bring from my current ERP?

Master data such as accounts, items, BOMs, routings, stock and open orders are loaded with the Excel import and rule-driven mapping. The import is repeatable until the data is right.

Does my accounting stay in place?

We decide that in the migration strategy: which systems stay, for example accounting, and which are replaced. Digital WorkMate can also run alongside an existing financial system.

What is the ERP Migration Scan?

The scan maps your current ERP, processes, data and integrations and results in a DWM Fit & Migration Report with an honest fit/gap.
