Your schedule is only as good as your roster
Your schedule is only right when your roster is right. Who works when? Which machine runs through the break? If that lives in someone's head or an Excel file, the system plans with assumptions. That is where rescheduling comes from.
The amount is modest: 20 resources, 5 changes a year, half an hour per change is 50 hours. With clicking and dragging instead of typing that saves about 30 hours, over €1,600. The big amount is in the schedule running on a wrong roster.
In Digital WorkMate you create time slots by clicking or dragging in the week calendar. You align them to existing time slots, copy a day or fill several days at once. A warning shows when a roster lacks time slots the planner needs.
Indicative calculation example, €55 per hour. Not a customer result.
