Who knows where everything is?
Who in your company knows where everything is? And what happens when that person is off for a week? In many warehouses that person is called Henk. Henk knows those pallets are at the back and that one lot has not been released yet. Fine, until Henk is ill.
A calculation example. Four employees who each spend 10 minutes a day looking for things: 153 hours a year. On top comes typing product, lot and expiry date at every receipt, good for another 115 hours or so. And one wrong lot is a big problem in a recall.
Once the knowledge is in the system, it no longer has to live in one head. The system suggests a location, you scan the barcode, and blocked stock sits on a quarantine location from which nothing can be issued. That is in Digital WorkMate.
Indicative calculation example, €45 per hour. Not a customer result.
