Which revision is at the machine?
Which revision is actually at the machine right now? And what has changed compared with the previous one? At many companies the answer is: have a look at the drawings, put the BOMs side by side.
A calculation example. 30 revisions a year, 45 minutes of manual comparing is over 22 hours, about €1,100. That is the smallest part. If one in fifteen revisions goes wrong, and the wrong parts are made twice a year, at €2,500 each time that is €5,000.
In Digital WorkMate you create a new revision as a copy of the previous one, including its bill of materials, and put two revisions side by side. You see what was added, removed or changed, also across different products.
Indicative calculation example, €50 per hour. Not a customer result.
