What does this shipment cost?
What does this shipment cost? At many companies the answer is: we will see that on the carrier's invoice. Meanwhile the order has been sold with an estimated shipping price. Or someone looks up the price in the carrier's portal, for every shipment again.
A calculation example: 1,200 shipments a year and 4 minutes of searching per shipment is 80 hours, over €3,000. The difference between estimated and actual is not even included.
For carriers that offer it, Digital WorkMate fetches the rates on the shipment: product, price, transit time and expected delivery (currently for DHL). The field turns red as long as no rate has been fetched, and yellow when the shipment was changed afterwards.
Indicative calculation example, €40 per hour. Not a customer result.
