Reorganise the warehouse without rebooking

20 October 2026 · Warehouse

Ever reorganised your warehouse? Then you know: the move is half the work, the rebooking the other half. Merging two locations means rebooking stock line by line, copying attributes and adjusting references.

A calculation example: two reorganisations a year, two people spending 16 hours each. That is 64 hours, at €45 an hour about €2,900. Often on a Friday afternoon, with a higher chance of mistakes.

If you drag stock to another location, merge or split locations, and the system records the movement in the history, rebooking is no longer a separate job. Reserved stock stays where it is. This is how it works in Digital WorkMate.

Indicative calculation example. Not a customer result.

When did you last reorganise your warehouse, and what did the rebooking cost? Want to see how this works? Book a demo.
